was planning to surprise my colleagues with me wearing spectacles to work today. but the whole of yesterday i was sneezing and rubbing my nose like hell. it started after i finished with my breakfast... then all the way till noon. most of my colleagues asked me to take a halfday leave and see a doctor. but i refused. cos taking a mc during internship is defintely not worth it.

till at night, i really couldnt stand it anymore. i was practically sneezing more than i was sneezing in the afternoon. went to see a doctor this morning and i was given one day mc. my eclair came today. but i had to take it tmr when im back at work. wonder will it be spoil anot. haha. shopping tmr again.. haha. work on saturday and to Dennis's house this sunday.

finally sold something more than last week. hahahaha. saw JimmyCai and PeiJing today while working. haha. Jimmy cant recognise me! oh my god~ he saw me at first. but turned away. HAHAHAHA. chit chatted awhile and they went off shopping. so shiok.. i will have my turn one fine day. meanwhile, it's chiong work all the way for me. so that i can earn lots of money and enjoy at the later part. hehe.

gonna have dinner soon. hubby is working now at Simei. SIMEIIIIIIII.. so damn far. haha.

back...

80% done with my shopping today.. hehe. went to collect my heels at Far East Plaza after me and hubby had our lunch at Lucky Plaza's Ayam Penyet.

bought my make up remover from Far East Plaza's Missha. the girl told me that the make up remover is going to be discontinued soon and asked me to buy two bottles instead. so without much thinking, i grabbed two bottles and make my payment. aww~ such a cheap and good make up remover they gonna discontinued it..

roamed around Far East Plaza after that but cant find anything that i like. so we headed to Wisma. then again, nothing i fancy at Isetan. gotten a coat from G2000. sales.. hahaha. wonder when will i wear it. haha.

had our rest at Spinelli. simply love the hot chocolate. hehehe.. whenever i crave for it in office, i would go and buy it as they have a Spinelli branch there. oh ya.. i gave hubby's parents four Spinelli cheese mooncakes. consisting of original, orange, strawberry and green tea flavour. i love the original and the orange. green tea taste weird to me but my colleagues love it. hahaha.

went to find the famous siao zhar bor to chat for awhile. love the time with her. her phone is cool~ haha. bought another pair of leggings at Toss as the one i bought previously is too short. haha.

cabbed home and here i am blogging. hubby is at his coleague's wedding dinner now.

Edison and i was chatting in office while working. haha. he was telling me some grandmother-story-like thing the whole day. but it is meaningful. im quite surprised he at this age can tell me so many things. and it's not nonsense...

Ruiqi, dont faint while reading this huh.. it's going to be another grandmother-story-like thing here again. hahaha.

ok here it goes.

firstly, Edison talked about the value of life. haha. he asked me a question.

"what is valued life?"

i think for few minutes but couldnt get him an answer. he told me, if my life is all about work and earning money, then upon death, i will realised that i have lived my whole live in vain. so i replied. almost all of us are the same. you have to work to earn income to support you and your family. though money is not everything. but without money you cant do anything.

his explanation was, "value of life is earned through certain process when you seek for something. that value can only be gained when you walk the path.. it's not something to be stated or answerable.. its something you need to find out yourself.. the "gain" is the value and not just the experience itself."

i thought for awhile and finally understood what he meant.

talk and talk and talk. till the topic suddenly become best friends, betrayal blablabla...

to me, i dont believe in best friends. cos even the bestest friend that you had, might betray you one fine day. in order not to let myself hurt deeply once again, i stayed out of this best friend thing. what is best friend? how much to consider someone as best friend? how much to consider someone as good friend? it's not something that can be measured by ruler. yes i agree on this. it's definitely not measured by how long that friendship can be. if you say that how long a friendship can be determines one to be best friend, i doubt so. i can have a friend whom i know for 10 years. does it mean that he/she is my best friend? no.. it different for all of us to determine what is best friend...

Edison got this into my brains..

he said i dont have to be afraid of friend betraying me. cos it's a process to discover the true friend. to filter out a good and a bad, it takes time. not just by one day or two. some will get hurt, so that you will proceed to find the real friend. if you dont want, then you will stop there. it's not up to us to decide which friend we want.

you be friend with someone cos you accepted him/her. not cos you want to change them. one's character is being brought up since the day he/she is born. he/she is born with it. you cant possible change it. maybe a little, but it's never gonna be a whole. you dont ask people to change just to suit you. but for their own good. but if that person is not gonna change, you cant force too.

enough of the "story".. might continue one day when i have the time.

this guy ah. never fails to absorb something from him. he is very crappy at times (if not how to entertain me when im at office right.. LOL). haha. we talk until like sisters.. haha. oopss. or brothers.. hahahahaha.

something weird happened in office today. not gonna talk much about it here. haha.

im thinking what should i wear tmr...

off to my bed now... IT'S FRIDAY TMR!!!!! yuhoo.. shopping day on saturday. haha. i did some shopping yesterday. bought a tube dress and heels. gonna collect the heels on saturday. and more shopping.. with dearest cousin next friday... hehe...

it's been a week since i last updated. let me recall what happened...

9th September
went to report for work in the morning, then realise i came for the wrong schedule. -_-
went to hubby's house after that to rot all the way.. as i have brought along some donuts bought on the day before, i took it out and reheat before eating. damn delicious....

10th September
back to office... surprisingly, no monday blues.. time pass fast enough. before i realised, it was already knock off time. went back home of cos to have a good night's sleep.

11 September
nothing much happened... saw Maureen on train in the morning and i took her seat after she left. soooo great.. well, i always have a long journey from home to work and work back to home in case some of you dont know.

12th September
met hubby up at cityhall mrt to go to Plaza Singapura to collect my altered pants.. heard people saying about earthquake thing at Plaza Singapura as well as on the train. Saw Maureen again while taking the train to Marina Bay and back to Woodlands. bought dinner back from CWP back to my house and hubby went back home after having dinner at my house. something big happened in office today. as i did something wrong. luckily my colleagues and supervisor are good enough. i thought i was dead after the big mistake...

13th September
it's papa's birthday. went back home immediately to order some food to celebrate... i was already in my dreamland before my papa come back from fetching my mama..

14th September
nothing great happened in office.. just that for the last two hours before i knock off, i've got nothing to do. i was bored till i went to look thru the address book in the lotus notes... haha. met up with my dear girl after work at Central.. had our dinner at Billy Bombers. i love the heart-to-heart talk with her! as i will be going to hubby's house after meeting her, i brought all my stuffs along. and i look like i've done some great shopping for the day. haha. bought super mini donuts home. super cute and yummy of cos. the donuts making processing is even more cute. see it and you will know. it's located at basement one of Central.

wake up at around 2pm.. hubby's sister came not long after we woke up. his nephew is so cute..

hubby's mama: "eat the rice then you can eat the donuts. Jie Jie buy one leh..."
the nephew: "dont want.... i dont want eat rice...."
hubby's mama: "then what you want??"
the nephew: " i want eat DOUGH DOUGH!!!!!"

all of us burst into laughter! haha. it's 4.30pm now.. going for dinner later on and back to my house in the night. working tmr.. and then going for dinner with my family after i knock off.

went to queue for Donuts Factory with my cousin in the afternoon. waiting time was 1 hour 30 minutes and we gotten our yummy donuts. heh heh heh.. saw how they make their donuts. quite cute, as the donuts were flipping here and there.

tmr i will be having donuts meal. for lunch and dinner. nothing else. HAHA.

tired week

work is fine.. just that when you got nothing much to do in office, you will tend to doze off. haha. i was msn-ing most of the time in office today. manager not in, team lead not in. no government there for today. haha. went for lunch at Expo and bought some snacks back to office. i love office toilets now.. haha. have been gulping water the whole day. of cos will keep going to visit the toilet la. haha.

after work took train back and bought dinner home to eat. so tired... finally it's friday tmr. haha. might be queueing for Donuts Factory on saturday morning. not yet confirm. then attend my cousin's 21st birthday celebration.

some people ah. just wanna get some attention from their friends. hahaha. they think they say this say that then their friends would believe. one-sided story. how to judge from just one-sided story? haha. better dont say so much here. later people thought i saying them or what. i never mention names wor... haha.

tired days..

it's only been two days and now im "complaining".

well, these two days im at IBM for attachment. everyday 9am to 6pm. killer. cos of the long journey from my house to work. im going to buy bus concession the next month. every morning without fail i would sleep on the train. from Woodlands to City Hall and City Hall to Tanah Merah. and im only alighting at Expo.

met up with my dear girl last evening for some short catch up. sakae-ing with her for dinner. today's lunch is at Changi Airport for Sakae again with my fellow colleagues and RuiQi. there's another guy from my school oso being attached to the same department as me. but of cos, he's not handling the same stuffs as what im doing. he looks 75% like Chewling's boyfriend. haha. on the first day to report for work, i almost mistook him as Chewling's boyfriend.

i've gotten my ThinkPad at work this morning. and was busy all the way till i knock off. but at least i've got something to do and i wont feel bored, thou i feel sleepy at times. haha. dont really few like going back school for the last quarter after the attachment. how i wish the school post me there for 24 weeks of attachment instead of 12 weeks. met up hubby after work. he's so nice to wait for me at Expo mrt station.. hehe.. went to hav our dinner at a ramen restaurant at suntec. the food there is not bad. most exciting thing is you can choose different standards of spicy-ness for your ramen, ranging from one to eight if im not wrong. you guys should have a try. it's located at basement one, just in front of New Zealand's ice cream stall. then to Woodlands to have some la-ko-pi session and then home sweet home.

i will be going down to Orchard one of these days to alter my pants. it's way too long. haha. will also be getting one of the ladies slippers at Charles and Keith.

nid to stock up my office with lots of stuffs. haha.

oh ya, there's one full timer whom i feel she look abit like my communication skills lecturer, Ms Benita, i cant really remember that colleague's face, but whenever i think of her, Ms Benita's face will pop up. haha.

it's so late now.. i better be off to my bed. if not i'll be late for work tmr.
